One particular attraction that has brought me to Uzbekistan is the vibrant and bold patterns of the Ikats of Uzbekistan. It has been the cultural treasure of this country for more than 2 centuries. The Ikats are textile wooven from pre dyed thread( mostly natural colors obtained from fruits & vegetables) and the fabrics have received international recognition and the latest trend in fashion and interior design.
